Lavinia: Have you looked at style 6160? Any color preference?
Customer: Yes i’m looking at 6160 – it says lightly padded. I think that might be a little too much i have bought “lightly padded” in the past and they are very thick.
Lavinia: It has very light foam lining without any push up padding/bump up pads. It produces great lift without the extra bulk. Most balcony/shelf bras will provide push up effect without excessive padding. Some have more padding than others. Style 6160 is a great bra, which I highly recommend. If you prefer a smooth cup, try 6272.
Customer: Are demi and balconette the same? They seem to hav a little more coverage than shelf.
Lavinia: Balconnettes have less coverage than typical demi cup bras. Yes, demi cup bras provide slightly more coverage.
Customer: So it’s demi, balconette, and the shelf? Shelf seems like it just covers right below the nipples.
Lavinia: It depends on your nipples. Shelf bras (aka balconettes) usually cover the top of your nipples and create fullness on the top half of breasts. They are a great solution for breasts that have some sag They also provide natural round shaping.
