Designed by Lithuanian born Sonata Rapalyte, Sonata Lingerie collection bespeaks the designer’s long-time love affair with luxurious materials as she continues to showcase the finest silks, linens and lace on the female form. While she credits the spark of this passion to her early childhood, she took it to the next level when she moved to London and worked for a string of lingerie designers including Damaris where she contributed to the first Damaris collection. With ambition and a desire to step out from behind the scenes, she launched her own collection – Sonata Lingerie in 2008, filling in the gap she said existed in the industry for beautiful lingerie.
Her collection is a form of art, evoking emotion and enveloping the wearer in beauty. “I just want to make women feel pretty and sexy…and when you wear amazing lingerie – you feel amazing.,” said Ms.Rapalyte.
