The favorite luxury lingerie La Perla will now have French designer Jean Paul Gaultier on a new collection of retro fashion.

Prices from $600 for bras and panties to $1,200 for more intricate pieces and the new luxury collection will be sold from November at select La Perla and Gaultier boutiques; just in time for the holidays. The collection will include underwear “which streams the body’s curves”, extra high-waisted pants and bustiers emphasizing the neck in black and powder pink to be the predominate color palate and splashes of vibrant colors in the mix. The new line will include 27 styles, nearly all handmade – including a corset and bra inspired by the cone-shaped bra that the designer created for Madonna in the Nineties.

Haute-couture designer Gaultier said in a press release: “In my latest prêt-à-porter collection I revisited the conical bras and corsets worn as outerwear. Lingerie is part of my core beliefs and my heritage. It has been nearly 30 years since I created my first corset dress. This collaboration was a natural and logical step, especially since La Perla is the pearl of lingerie, with the best savoir-faire.”

Two limited edition pieces will be presented on July 7th at the time of Gaultier couture runway show in Paris: a satin bra as well as a “butt padded” garter belt that has been built in such a way that it rounds of the figure for an irresistible silhouette” the press release promises.
